Powder conveying equipment comes in many varieties, but can be broadly categorized by their operating principle into three main types: mechanical, pneumatic, and hybrid.

1. Mechanical Powder Conveying Equipment: This primarily includes screw conveyors, scraper conveyors, and bucket elevators. This type of equipment uses the direct pushing or lifting action of mechanical components to achieve continuous or intermittent conveying of powders. Screw conveyors are suitable for conveying materials horizontally or at shallow angles, while scraper conveyors are more adept at handling sticky or easily agglomerated materials. Bucket elevators are primarily used for vertical material lifting.

2. Pneumatic Powder Conveying Equipment: This includes dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems and dense-phase pneumatic conveying systems. These systems utilize the dynamic action of air to transport powder materials through pipelines. Dilute-phase conveying is suitable for powders with small, low-density particles and long conveying distances, while dense-phase conveying is more suitable for materials with large, high-density particles and relatively short conveying distances.

3. Hybrid powder conveying equipment: combines the advantages of mechanical and pneumatic types, such as vibrating conveyors. It uses the principle of vibration to keep the material in a flowing state during the conveying process and is suitable for materials that are prone to clogging and have poor fluidity.
