Valve components must undergo the following cleaning procedures before assembly:
1. Depending on processing requirements, some components may require polishing. Surface burrs and other debris may be removed.
2. All components must be degreased.
3. After degreasing, perform a pickling and passivation treatment using a phosphorus-free cleaning agent.
4. After pickling and purification, rinse thoroughly with pure water to ensure no residual chemical residue. This step is omitted for carbon steel components.
5. Wipe each component dry with a non-woven cloth to ensure no lint remains on the surface, or blow dry with clean nitrogen.
6. Wipe each component with a non-woven cloth or fine filter paper dipped in analytical-grade alcohol until no stains are present.
