Gas conveying equipment comes in many varieties. Based on their operating principles and application scenarios, they can be categorized as follows:

1. Fans and Blowers

Fans and blowers are common gas conveying equipment. They use rotating blades to generate airflow, thereby conveying gas. Fans are typically used to convey low-pressure gases, such as for ventilation and air circulation. Blowers, on the other hand, can generate higher pressures and are suitable for applications requiring higher air volume and pressure, such as combustion air for combustion equipment and ventilation for industrial furnaces.

2. Compressors

Compressors are a crucial component of gas conveying equipment, mechanically compressing gas to a high pressure. Based on their compression method, compressors can be divided into two categories: positive displacement compressors and speed compressors. Positive displacement compressors, such as piston compressors and screw compressors, compress gas by changing their working volume. Speed compressors, such as centrifugal compressors and axial flow compressors, rely on high-speed rotation or flow of gas to compress gas. Compressors are widely used in refrigeration, air conditioning, chemical processing, petroleum, and natural gas industries.

3. Vacuum Pump

A vacuum pump is a device that generates negative pressure to extract gas from a confined space. It uses mechanical, physical, or chemical methods to extract gas molecules from a container, creating a vacuum inside. Vacuum pumps are widely used in semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum metallurgy, vacuum drying, and other fields.

4. Pneumatic Conveying Equipment

Pneumatic conveying equipment uses the kinetic energy or pressure differential of gas to transport materials. It mixes material with gas and transports it to its destination through a pipeline. Pneumatic conveying equipment offers advantages such as long conveying distances, large conveying volumes, and a high degree of automation. It is widely used in industries such as coal, grain, chemicals, and building materials.

5. Other Specialty Gas Conveying Equipment

In addition to the common gas conveying equipment mentioned above, there are also specialized gas conveying equipment, such as liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen conveying equipment. These devices are often used in specific fields, such as cryogenics, medical treatment, and aerospace.
